Maine Dental Health Out-Reach, Inc., formally Tooth
Angels, was established in January 2003 by Susanne
J. LaVallee, RDH. Organized and operating as a not-for profit,
501c3 charitable organization, Maine Dental Health Out-Reach,
Inc. has a mobile dental hygiene van complete with two dental
hygiene treatment rooms. Depending on the situation, MDHOI also
has portable units that can be set up in alternative settings
to deliver preventative dental hygiene care.
The goal of Maine Dental Health Out-Reach, Inc. is to serve
the dental hygiene needs of that portion of the population
of Maine who otherwise would be unable to access dental hygiene
care.
MDHOI
currently has a referral relationship with restorative dentists,
endodontists, oral surgeons and orthodontists to treat our
most at risk patients.
